Heffers is a huge bookshop that has served Cambridge’s locals, tourists, students and academics since 1876. While its range of books on all subjects from Archaeology to Zoology is impressive, it also stocks a wide variety of other items to tempt visitors. Heffers Music department sells CDs, records, sheet music, books and a selection of musical instruments and music-related gifts. We have an ever-growing range of board games, jigsaws and puzzles available and a board games group that meets regularly in the shop. For fans of Harry Potter (and there are millions of you) we are stockists of brilliant HP goodies, including the wands of all the major characters. But, above all, Heffers is about books. We have the widest range of academic books in Cambridge, along with a huge fiction selection, which includes Britain’s best crime fiction department.
